The Virginia Horse Center (VHC) is excited to announce the return of the Mid-Atlantic Dressage Festival & Lexington CDI3* (MADFest) on May 16-19. This is the third season of this international caliber event, consisting of a National and International Dressage Show. We are pleased to share that Täkt Saddlery will join us again as Presenting Sponsor in 2024. Joanna Gray-Randle, Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of Täkt Saddlery expressed her excitement:

“MADFest embodies all of the best qualities of competition and camaraderie and attracts top riders with its wonderful atmosphere and international experience. Täkt was founded in Virginia, and this Commonwealth, resplendent with equestrian opportunity, is the perfect home for our business as MADFest is the perfect event for us to sponsor.”

As the show grows, our management continues exploring ways to enhance the experience for competitors and spectators. New this year is our partnership with ClipMyHorseTV, who will be live-streaming the classes in the International Arena. Livestreaming is jointly sponsored by BioStar and World Equestrian Brands, making the excitement of MADFest available to show attendees and spectators worldwide. To enhance the experience, esteemed dressage judge Kathy Connelly will provide live commentary on the rides.

Cynthia Montague, owner of BioStar, stated:

“I am so pleased we are able to return as the co-sponsor of the livestream this year. It is important for the development of dressage in the Mid-Atlantic region to have a CDI, and it is a bonus that it is held at the Virginia Horse Center. We are excited to start our third year of support for this terrific show.”

Robin Moore, owner of World Equestrian Brands, expressed that she is …

“thrilled to be a Livestream Sponsor and is looking forward to another great competition in 2024 and wishes the riders all the best as they show off the talent of their wonderful equine partners.”

In addition to having the live streaming available for all to watch free of charge during the show, ClipMyHorse will also offer viewing of the classes and clips to its members post-show.

This year’s edition of MADFest will feature several hospitality events, including a Welcome Party on Thursday and a food truck serving gourmet coffee, donuts, and bagels on Sunday morning. These events are made possible by generous sponsors. A wide array of vendors featuring everything from tack to jewelry will be on-site for a curated shopping experience.

Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are filling fast, but we would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a sponsor or vendor in 2024 and have not yet heard from us.
